THEME: LOOK UP—YOUR REDEMPTION IS NEAR
THEME SCRIPTURE: “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” – Luke 21:28 (NIV)
PREPARATORY QUESTION
- What did Jesus mean when He said we are to look up when we see all the signs of the end unfolding?
Jesus described troubling days—but then He gave a posture: stand up and lift your head.
Not panic. Not despair. But expectation.
For the believer, history is not spiraling downward without purpose. It is moving toward redemption. The same events that cause fear in some should awaken hope in us.
“Look up” is a command. It is a decision to shift perspective.
If you stare only at circumstances, discouragement grows. If you fix your eyes on Christ, endurance grows.
Beloved, redemption is not wishful thinking. It is promised fulfillment. Christ will complete what He began. Justice will be established. What is broken will be restored.
So do not live bowed down by temporary turbulence. Live alert. Live ready. Live hopeful.
Key Takeaway
When the world shakes, believers lift their heads—because our future is secure.
Precious one, as long as your head is lifted up, no matter the headlines in the news today, you will remain unshakable and immovable. Rather, you will abound more and more in the grace of God.
Remain blessed
