TOPIC: SIGNED BY THE DIVINE

THEME SCRIPTURE: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago” (Ephesians 2:10, NLT)

PREPARATORY QUESTIONS:

1. What makes us unique?

2. Where do we draw our true value from?

It is difficult for many people to answer the question, "Who are you?" You are not your profession. You are not your economic or academic status. Others define themselves by their skin color, but child of God, you are not any of these.

Without God, we reduce ourselves to cosmic accidents—random collisions of molecules. But this is a poverty of imagination. A painting is more than pigment; a symphony is more than notes. We are more than atoms.

The radiant truth: We bear the signature of the Artist who shaped galaxies. “God created mankind in His own image” (Genesis 1:27). Your value isn’t in your productivity, appearance, or accolades. It’s in the breath of God that fills your lungs and the calling He etched into your soul.

Beloved, when we come to God, He united us with Christ. In His death, we died with Christ. And in His resurrection, we were resurrected with the Lord. Now, we have become a new creation in Christ. Yeah, new! Another kind of being.

We were created by God as living souls. Now, we have been recreated in Christ as quickening spirits. We have become God's masterpiece. Glory to God!

Precious one, if we are the Master's masterpiece, how are we to live our lives?

We must first of all learn to start each day with a consciousness of our identity. Before checking your phone when you wake up in the morning, declare aloud: “I am God’s workmanship, designed for His purpose. I am not ordinary.” Let this truth anchor your worth.

Further, we will have to see His Signature in others. When you look at others, what do you see? Do you see God's signature on them? Compliment someone not for their achievements but for their God-given dignity: “You reflect His creativity.”

Also, we will have to create as He creates: Yeah, as He is, so are we in the world. Beloved, use your gifts—paint, write, serve, encourage—not for applause but as worship. Every act of love mirrors the Artist.

Precious one, you are not a mass of cells. You are a message—proof of a loving Creator.

Today, walk as His masterpiece. The world doesn’t need more critics; it needs reminders of the Supreme Artist. “You are a chosen people, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). Live signed.

Remain blessed.:

QUESTION TO HELP YOU MEDITATE ON THE WORD

1. Precious one, who are you?

PRAYER

Father, forgive me for forgetting Whose I am. Open my eyes to see myself—and others—as You do: irreplaceable, intentional, infused with eternal purpose. From today, my life declares, “This one is signed by God"  in Jesus's precious name. Hallelujah!
