TOPIC: NOTHING IS TOO HARD
THEME SCRIPTURE: “For nothing will be impossible with God.” -Luke 1:37
PREPARATORY QUESTION
- If nothing is impossible for God, why does He choose not to do some things?
The human instinct is to measure possibilities by experience. Age limited Sarah. Biology limited Mary. Time, failure, and fear quietly draw boundaries around what we believe can happen. Yet God speaks into those boundaries— not to negotiate with them, but to dissolve them.
When God promised Abraham a son through Sarah, it sounded absurd. When the angel spoke to Mary, it sounded impossible. Two different impossibilities—one rooted in age, the other in purity —but the same divine answer: nothing can obstruct what God has willed.
Omnipotence is not randomness or spectacle. It is God’s unchallenged ability to accomplish His purpose. He does not act to impress; He acts to fulfill His will. This means His power is not chaotic—it is precise, intentional, and unstoppable.
The tension we often feel comes from misunderstanding this: we expect God to do anything, while He commits to doing everything He has willed. The difference is critical. God will not contradict His nature—He cannot lie, fail, or act unjustly—not because He lacks power, but because His power is perfectly aligned with His character.
This truth confronts and comforts at the same time.
It confronts because resisting God is ultimately futile. To push against His will is to push against that which is immovable.
It comforts because nothing— no delay, no weakness, no impossibility —can prevent Him from completing what He has begun in your life.
Faith, then, is not wishful thinking. It is alignment. It is choosing to trust that God’s will, once revealed, carries within it the power for fulfillment.
Like a warship pressing through violent seas, God moves forward— unhindered, unwearied, unconquered. And if your life is in His hands, then your story is carried by that same unstoppable force.
Key Takeaway
God’s power guarantees the fulfillment of His will—trust Him not for what you imagine, but for everything He has promised or declared.
Today, step out confidently knowing that God is Omnipotent and faithful. He can be trusted.
Remain blessed.

QUESTION TO HELP YOU MEDITATE ON THE WORD
- Am I resisting God’s will in subtle ways, or am I trusting His power even when His promises seem impossible?
PRAYER
Lord, You are all-powerful, yet perfectly good. Forgive me for limiting You with my fears and doubts. Teach me to trust not just in what You can do, but in what You have willed to do in my life. Align my heart with Your purpose, and give me courage to believe when circumstances say otherwise. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
