THEME: THE PROBLEM-SOLVING SAVIOR

THEME SCRIPTURE: "But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins and remit the penalty, He then said to the paralyzed man, Get up! Pick up your sleeping pad and go to your own house. And he got up and went away to his own house." Matthew 9:6-7 AMPC

PREPARATORY QUESTION

1. Have you handed over all your problems to God?

Jesus' ministry spanned three and a half years. Some came to watch Him, being indifferent. Others came to criticize Him.

But those who came to Him with believing faith went back without their problems.

Life is full of challenges, troubles, and crises. It may be an issue of ill health, financial challenges, marital struggles, a wayward child, loss of a loved one, etc.

The follower of Christ is not free from these. However, he who knows the problem-solving Savior will always surmount all challenges.

Beloved, how do you see Jesus? Can He do it? Will He do it? The question is not only about His ability but also His authority.

He is the One who, at His rebuke, the elements of nature respond to. The miracles of His ministry confirm His authority. If only we will come to Him with believing faith.

Precious One, there are times God will give us wisdom to solve some of our problems. Other times, He would want us to lay them at His feet. Can you in faith lay down all your problems at Jesus' feet? When a problem is properly laid at the feet of the problem-solving Savior, we cease to make that problem our problem. If we truly believe in the authority of the Master, we won't worry about our challenges already placed at His feet. The woman with the issue of blood for 12 years came to Him in faith and returned healed. A paralytic man was laid before Him through the roof of a building. Jesus saw their faith. He forgave the paralytic man's sins and healed him. Faith can be seen. It is not enough to pray. Have faith in Jesus. Trust Him with your problems and He will solve them all for you. He is strong enough to handle them, compassionate enough to feel your pain, loving enough to care, and wise above all to solve them.

Remain blessed

QUESTIONS TO HELP YOU MEDITATE ON THE WORD

1. Do you struggle with trusting Jesus with your challenges?

2. Do you have clarity when it comes to praying and trusting Him after praying?

PRAYER

Master Jesus, you can do all things. Today, I lay before you all my challenges and struggles. I trust that you can handle them for me. Your love for me is so deep, that you are ready to help. I count the challenges I have handled because I have laid them at your feet. Glory to God.
