Introduction

When it comes to Sailing (Prayer and Praying), the Word of God must be the basis for it. As a result, you must pray according to what God has said and not what you feel about any situation. This is why these prayer points have been developed to help you pray by the Word.
Secondly, to get results in prayer, always receive when you ask or make declarations.

Thirdly, if we pray according to His will He hears us. And this is the will of God, “whatsoever you shall ask the Father in My name [the name Jesus], He will give it to you.” – John 16:23

Fourth, focus in prayer is necessary. Please do not let your mind roam. Focus on God with whom you are communing in prayer. When you pray, do not let it come from your mind only but from your heart.

Let the words you use in prayer have meaning for you. Don’t just throw words around.

Fifth, every prayer to God must be followed with action. Not just any action but an action full of confidence and assurance that you have been heard by God. Until you demonstrate that you believe (you have been answered), your prayer cannot yield results. Mark 11:24 – “Whatsoever you desire (it starts with a strong desire) when you pray (followed by fervent prayer) believe that you receive them (take faith steps in the direction of your answered prayers) and you shall have them (then it will manifest). Glory to God. This means if you are looking for a job, pray with a strong desire and after prayer go out there and look for the job. God will order your steps to the right person or the right company for that job because He has heard you. Isn’t that beautiful?

 

 

Starting Your Prayer

The first point to consider when you want to pray is how to pray through the Spirit. Always remember that God is a Spirit and only things in the Spirit or through the Spiritappeals to Him. This is why Jesus had to offer Himself through the Eternal Spirit so the sacrifice would be acceptable unto God (Hebrews 9:14). To pray in the Spirit, people have different ways of stirring the Holy Spirit of God in them so their words would be filled with the power of the Spirit. Some worship God and as they worship the Spirit of God is stirred up in them. Others like to speak in other tongues for a while so they are stirred up. Once they are stirred and filled with the Spirit of God (the fullness of God) they then launch into specific prayers.

Once you are ready to launch out in prayer, consider affirming your justification in Christ Jesus. What do I mean? Isaiah 53:5 – He [Jesus] was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement [punishment] for our peace with God was laid upon Him… This suggests that Jesus has suffered for all your sins therefore no sin can be ascribed to you. Therefore in faith confess THAT YOU ARE JUSTIFIED IN CHRIST JESUS. HE HAS BEEN WOUNDED FOR ALL YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS…… THEREFORE YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS. FOR GOD FOREORDAINED YOU, DESTINED YOU AND PLANNED IN LOVE FOR YOU TO BE ADOPTED (AND BE REVEALED) AS HIS OWN CHILD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, BY THE PURPOSE OF HIS WILL. THIS IS PLEASING TO HIM [GOD] AND WAS HIS KIND INTENT SO THAT YOU MIGHT BE TO THE PRAISE AND THE COMMENDATION OF HIS GLORIOUS GRACE (FAVOR AND MERCY), WHICH HE SO FREELY BESTOWED ON YOU IN THE BELOVED.

However, if you are coming to pray and you know you have offended someone or hurt a brother or sister [you are at fault], pick a phone, call the brother or sister and confess your faults one to another. When you pray, remember the one you have hurt, so that you both may be healed (James 5:16)

 

Now launch into the deep with some of these prayer points:

 1. Prayer For Revival in our Communities

1. In the name of Jesus, it is come to pass in our days that the mountain of the house of God is established as the highest of all mountains. Men and women, young and old are finding their salvation, revival, restoration and deliverance in the churches of God. Isaiah 2:2
2. In Jesus' name, Father I ask and receive an unusual Spiritual hunger and thirst over my country and also across the nations of the world. Precious Father, I ask that this hunger and thirst will cause men and women to stagger from the east to the west, from the north to the south in search of God. Isaiah 44:3
3. In Jesus' name, nations are flowing to the house of God, and people of all tongues and tribes are trooping into the presence of God to seek and receive their salvation according to God’s Word. Isaiah 2:2
4. In the name of Jesus, I ask that Holy Spirit of God, equip the church to wield or employ the unadulterated Word of God. Isaiah 2:3
5. Precious Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask and receive the outpouring of the Spirit on all nations and communities, such that nations and communities that are unfruitful to God will begin to blossom. And blossoming countries will flourish to become a forest in the Spirit. Isaiah 32:15
6. Precious Father, Have You not said, “I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.” – Jeremiah 24:7. In Jesus Name, let every backslider, prodigal son/daughter receive a heart to know the true and living God where they are. In Jesus' Name return to God with your whole heart to serve Him.

 

 2. Prayer For Families and Friends

1. Dear Father, I did not choose my parents. You sovereignly did. I thank you for the life of my parents and my siblings wherever they are. I thank you for the sacrifices they have made for me in this life. Let your name alone be praised. Matthew 1:19-21
2. Precious Father, you have commanded that we honor our father and mother. In the name of my Lord Jesus, wherever I have not honored my parents I ask for forgiveness. I ask and receive your grace to be careful always in honoring my parents. – Matthew 15:4
3. Precious Father, In the name of our Lord Jesus, I commend my entire family and/or friends to You and your Word of grace. I ask that each one of us will be built or grow in your Word> I also ask that Your mighty hand will fashion us to become what you have purposed for our lives. Thank you Father that my family and/or friends are becoming better each day through the knowledge of our Lord Jesus. Thank you Father, for we have received an inheritance among all that are sanctified. Acts 20:32
4. Precious Father, any family member or friend who is walking in this life by the thoughts of his own imagination I ask for your gift of salvation for him/her in the name of Jesus. Precious Father, by circumstances and even by crisis, I ask that you reach out to them with the conviction of sin, and of righteousness and of judgement. I receive your help for them to turn unto you in Jesus' name. – Matthew 16:25-26

 

 3. Prayer To Walk Worthy of The Lord

1. Precious Father, the greatest event on earth happened when Jesus came to live on earth to teach us your ways. The greatest event of my life is when Jesus came to dwell in my heart by faith. I thank you for the gift of eternal life. Ephesians 3:17
2. Eternal Father, in Jesus' name I ask and receive strength to be submissive to government and authorities, to be obedient, such that I am prepared to do only that which is upright and honorable. – Titus 3:1
3. Precious Holy Spirit of God, without you I can do nothing (John 15:5). In Jesus' name I ask for your wisdom to speak and speak no slander or abuse. I receive grace to speak no evil and to avoid being contentious. I also receive your help to be forbearing (gentle or conciliatory) and to show unqualified courtesy towards everyone in Jesus' name. – Titus 3:2
4. Precious Father, this day I ask for your grace to identify unfruitful ventures and activities and to steer away from them. I receive also the grace to be productive and a blessing to many others, not being lazy in any way or uncivilized in my ways and words, in Jesus' name. – Titus 3:14
5. In Jesus' name, I affirm that by the Holy Spirit of God in me, who works in me both do will and do His good pleasure, I am walking and producing fruits of righteousness, patience, gentleness, humility, love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness and faithfulness. Galatians 5:22-23

 

 4. Prayer For Strength to Be Faithful In Christ

1. Precious Father, I worship you as the wise men came to worship you with their substances. They presented to you earthly wealth when they came to you. I surrender all my life and my earthly goods to Your use. But most importantly, I yield my heart unto you. – Matthew 2:11
2. Precious Father, I know from your word that the devil will always want to destroy that which is godly and also of God. I ask and obtain your wisdom to know the difference between weeds and the plants of righteousness. As your workman, I obtain the grace to focus on the things that you want me to attend in Jesus' Precious Name. – Matthew 13:27-30
3. Precious Father, there are times you allow storms into my life to enable me assess my faith in you. I ask in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ for the spirit of faithfulness to never complain or murmur. When I am burdened in my stormy days kindly walk on the water to my rescue. Further, I receive grace to learn and deepen my spiritual roots during stormy days to the glory of God. – Matthew 14:30-33
4. Precious Father, In the name of Jesus I receive your wisdom to manage my time, talent and treasures wisely, knowing that I am accountable for them all. I receive your help to work with them effectively in the locations you have placed me. – Matthew 25:26-27

 

 5. Prayer For Those Who Treat You As enemies

1. Precious Father, without the eyes of God to see right it is difficult to love those who walk in evil. In the name of Jesus, I ask that you give me the eyes to see everyone (including those who hate me and maltreat me) as You see them. And with the Holy Spirit of God in my heart I affirm that I have Your love to love them according to your word. Matthew 5:43; Romans 5:5
2. Father, in the name of Jesus I pray for those who hate me. I bless all those who despise me and have taken advantage of me. Everyone who has hurt me one way or the other I forgive in Jesus' name. I free them all out of my heart today. Matthew 5: 44
3. Father, in the name of Jesus I receive strength and joy to treat well and genuinely all those who treat me as an enemy. As God would treat them so also have I received the strength to treat them. Matthew 5:45

 

 6. Prayer For Missionaries and The Advancement of the Gospel

1. Precious Father, thank you for the ministry of missionaries across the globe. Continue to bless all those who (one way or the other) are contributing to sending the gospel to the unreached and unsaved in the nations of the world.
2. Father, in the name of Jesus I ask that you will raise and send more laborers into your field like never before. Men and women who are desperate for souls – determined never to be deterred. Raise evangelists and pastors for our time to continue the work and ministry of reconciliation. I see you, Lord, sending us more helpers, laborers, evangelists, pastors and teachers for our time in Jesus' name. Matthew 9:38
3. Precious father, in line with your Word I pray for my nation to forgive and pardon every iniquity we have committed. Restore my nation. You have shown us your love by the abundance of your provision and yet we have chosen to keep you out of our lives. We obtain your help to return ba You this day and may we be spared the fate of Sodom – Matthew 11:20 – 24
4. Precious Jesus, You have said “You will build Your church”. I pray for the church of God in this world. Since you are building your church I affirm that the church of God will continue to advance irrespective of the tantrums the devil throws at us. The gates of hell cannot prevail against us in any way. Matthew 16:18
5. Father, Your word teaches me the importance of one soul to the kingdom of heaven. It is not your will that the souls of men be lost. I ask in the name of my Lord Jesus the zeal to go after Christians I know have backslidden and those who are yet to know you, the true God – Matthew 18:11-14
6. Precious Father, I pray for your body which is the church. I ask that your church will grow stronger in unity and zeal for lost souls. In Jesus' name, I affirm that your church today is receiving grace to know and understand what the will of God is in this end time, and to make the best use of the time because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-17)

 

 7. Prayer For Babies

1. Thus says the Lord, “You shall be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or your cattle.” (Deuteronomy 7:14). In the name of Jesus, I affirm that I am blessed above all people. In the name of Jesus, I am fruitful. My spouse is also fruitful. The increase of our children begins today in Jesus' name. In alignment with the word of God whatever, was a challenge in my body or my spouse’s body is rebuked today. Am I not blessed above all people? What then can curtail my joy? Nothing! Thank you, Lord for victory

 

 8. Prayer For Life Partner

1. Dear Father, Abraham being a father found a wife through his servant for Isaac. You are my Father, my hope and my fortress. Who can find a thing without the help of the Holy Spirit of God? I pray and receive your help and leading Precious Holy Spirit, to find the right partner for my life. Proverbs 18:22
2. Precious Father, it is not good for a man/ woman to be alone, You said it. If it is not good for me to be alone then I turn to You, who is the dispenser of all that which is good and perfect. By circumstances and by your impressions in my spirit connect me to a suitable helper-partner. One who is right for teamwork to fulfil God’s plan and purpose for our lives. In Jesus' Precious name; Glory to God. – Genesis 2:18
3. Father, have you not said that houses and wealth are an inheritance from our parents but a prudent wife is from you Lord? (Proverbs 19:14). I receive from you today what only you can give – a prudent partner for my life. If we being evil know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more my Father who is in heaven. I affirm that you have honored me with a prudent life partner in Jesus' name. Matthew 7:11

 

 9. Prayer For Deliverance From Debt & Financial Releases

1. My Father, in Proverbs 13:11 You have said, “Wealth gotten unjustly or from vain and detrimental business shall waste away”. In Jesus' name, I receive forgiveness for any unjust wealth I have received into my tent or accounts. I receive understanding to be diligent rather with what you have provided for my hands to do and other opportunities you are yet to provide, in Jesus' precious name.
2. Precious Father, I ask for your healing of my heart if there is any greed and pride in it. You will not provide for the one who seeks wealth to satisfy his pride or greed. I receive liberty and freedom from all forms of greed and pride to be loyal and faithful to You, in Jesus' name. – 2 Chronicles 16:9
3. My Father and My God, I acknowledge that it is you who gives me the power, ideas, vehicle, opportunities, network and favor to create wealth. In Jesus' name, I receive from you today ideas to create wealth. I receive from you today opportunities and links to create wealth. In Jesus' name, I receive your help to multiply my finances. I attest that I have God’s favor to create more than enough wealth in Jesus' precious name. Deuteronomy 8:18
4. Precious Father, You can make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to me in abundance, so that always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be, I will be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. Since you can make this grace abound unto me Lord, it means I am also able to receive such grace from you. In Jesus' name, I receive this grace of God that guarantees self-sufficiency in all situations. I confess that from today going forward my financial situation allows me to require no aid [or loan], having always enough to accomplish all the necessary duties and responsibilities. As well as consistent donations to worthy courses. Glory to God. 2 Corinthians 9:8

 

 10. Prayer For God’s Protection

Prayers that activate protection against danger and the scheme of wicked men are directed, not to God, but to the danger itself or the wicked one.

1. In the name of Jesus, I affirm that I am in Mount Zion, a citizen of the city of the living God [the Heavenly Jerusalem]. I affirm that I have come into the midst of an innumerable company of angels. Therefore wherever I go and wherever I am, an uncountable number of angels are on guard about me and for me. I am securely protected by billions of angels. I walk amongst them every day and everywhere. As a result, the schemes of wicked men cannot come near me. – Hebrew 12:22
2. Devil, is it not written that no weapons fashioned against me shall prosper? Hence, the weapons that can prosper against me do not exist. Therefore in the name of Jesus, I declare unto you – all your weapons amassed against me are all ineffective. They can’t yield any results for you; they can’t proper against me – Isaiah 54:17
3. In Jesus, name, every evil tongue, divination and incantation invoked against me I condemn you all. And you are completely condemned. This is my heritage in Christ Jesus. - Isaiah 54:17
4. In the name of Jesus, death I declare unto you – You have no power over me. This truth is now unveiled by the finished works of Jesus [my life-giver] on the cross for me. You have no power over me. Jesus has dismantled death, obliterating (reducing to nothing) all your effect on my life. Jesus has manifested his immortal life in me through His gospel. – 2 Timothy 1:10

 

 11. Prayer For God’s Help To Decide

Prayer for God’s help in decision-making requires sincerity, that in whichever way God will direct, you are willing to yield to Him. Lest God who knows your heart may never answer your prayer when you are not genuine in seeking His opinion. Since such prayers are also personal the prayer points have been designed to be a bit general. Tailor them to your specificity.

1. Precious Father, in the name of Jesus, please I ask to know your ultimate plan in this matter – whether it is of you, by you or it is in your plan for my life. Dear Lord, I am not sure in this matter but you are ever sure. Should I pursue? Lord, will I overtake? Will the results honor you and also bring me to the next phase of your plan for me? – 1 Samuel 30:8
2. Dear Father, I trust that you always have my interest at heart. According as it is written – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. Lord, on my knees this day is proof of my acknowledgement of you as my source of wisdom. In Jesus' name, I receive your direction for my path. I receive your help to make the right choice/decision and find the ultimate path you have ordained for me in this matter – Proverbs 3:5,6
3. Precious Father, you have said that my ears shall hear a word behind me saying this is the way, walk in it. I declare that from today going forward your direction is clear unto me. The way out/ through this matter is strongly impressed upon my heart. Thank you for the victory Lord – Isaiah 30:21

 12. Prayer Against the spirit of Fear

1. In the name of Jesus who is my light and my salvation, I come against the spirit of fear, terror and dread. I rebuke you in His name. I charge you to leave right now my life. I cast you out completely. In Jesus' name return no more. – Psalm 27: 1
2. In the name of Jesus even if I am in the valley of the shadow of death, I cannot be afraid. God has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you so that I can boldly declare “I will not fear what man can do to me”. I affirm that God is with me. He is my helper. I am not alone in this therefore I am more than a conqueror. – Hebrews 13:5,6
3. In the name of Jesus, I rebuke you [spirit of fear], charging you never to return. For God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love and of a sound mind. In Jesus' name, I have a sound mind. I am full of God’s power therefore fear is crushed completely out of my life. – 2 Timothy 1:7
4. It is written, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. In Jesus' name, I am strengthened against all fears; I am upheld by the righteous right hand of God. Thank you Father, I have overcome – Isaiah 41:10

 13. Prayer For Wisdom To Succeed

Success as defined by the world is elusive. But God grants success [or victory] in what He puts into our hands in line with His purpose for our lives. If we lose sight of purpose then His victory also becomes difficult. Let us be careful not to make success our goal in life but rather a means to an end [fulfilling our purpose in life]

1. Father, it is written- “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God…, In Jesus' Precious name, I ask and receive generously from you, wisdom and insight for success – James 1:5
2. Precious Father, are you not the one who gave Jacob an idea in his toughest moments with his uncle Laban and he prevailed? I pray Lord, for your wisdom to come through successfully in these turbulent times with [business/ job/ my endeavors]. I receive that one thing [insight, key, information, opportunity] that will unveil my success in Jesus' name – Genesis 31:10-12
3. Father, the hand of the diligent makes [produces] riches. In Jesus' name, I receive multiplied grace to be extra diligent in whatever I do. With your help Lord I choose to be diligent in Jesus' Precious name; I refuse to be slothful in any way – Proverbs 10:4
4. Precious Jesus, you have become for us the wisdom of God. You are my wisdom in all that I do. I pray asking for mercy to see you in everything I do and to put you first in all my efforts. – 1 Corinthians 1:30

 

 14. Prayer Against Demonic Enterprises

1. Devil, in the name of Jesus, I come against you and all your enterprises. It is written, “ no weapon formed against you shall prosper…(Isaiah 54:17). This means the weapons that can prosper against me do not exist. In Jesus' name, I declare all your weapons mounted against me, my family or whatever is associated with me useless, ineffective. It cannot work against me according to the word of the Lord God Almighty.
2. In the name of Jesus, I take authority over any evil utterances and pronouncements against my life and all that concerns me. By the authority I have received in Christ Jesus, I condemn all such tongues and pronouncements. It shall not stand. (Isaiah 54:17)
3. I declare in the name of my Lord Jesus that every arrow that is flying by day and the terrors by night will not come near my tent. The pestilence (epidemic) that walks in darkness and the destructions that devastate at noon time are far from me. With my eyes I am beholding the reward of the wicked in Jesus' precious name – Psalm 91:5)
4. The life of God in me is also the light of men. This light shines in darkness and darkness can’t stand it. In Jesus' name, I declare that the life of God in me is shining brighter and brighter against any form of darkness and the works of darkness. Darkness, you are not able to stand me. Therefore there is no death in my path nor darkness in my way. Glory to God. (John 1:4-5)
5. Whatsoever I bind on earth is bound also in heaven. In the name of Jesus, I bind every devil of hell sent against my life today. Devil, remember this – You are subject to me through his name. In the name of Jesus “Be Bound Now!” I see you all bound according to my word. Thank you Lord Jesus; I give you praise. – Matthew 18:18

 15. Prayer For Our Children and the Young Generation 

1. Precious Father, I pray for our children and the young generation who will be the next custodians of the gospel of Christ. In Jesus' name, according as you have said, “they will spring up among the grass as willows by the watercourse…” so shall it for our children. The young generation of our time is springing forth in a unique and a special way to cling to God and the gospel. Isaiah 44:4-5
2. My Father, You have said, ”All your children shall be taught by the Lord. And great shall be the peace of your children” - Isaiah 54:13. In Jesus' Name, all my children are experiencing God and receiving a unique encounter with Him. The peace of God that passes understanding is mightily resting upon them all.
3. Precious father, You must always increase in our lives; we must decrease. In the name of Jesus, I pray for our young generation that they will be humble. The quest to seek self-significance will be far from them. But rather they will see their worth in You. I obtain Your grace for them this day to seek no glory but the glory of God – John 3:30
4. Precious Father, by your word I know that children are important to you. I pray, asking for grace never to forget this. In Jesus' name, I receive grace to love every child and to be a blessing to them when they come my way. With your eyes, I see the great potential You have embedded in every child. From today, I see myself being of help to children to find God’s wonderful plan for their lives. Matthew 19:13-15

 

 16. Prayer For God’s Guidance

1. My Father, Joseph wouldn’t have known there is danger coming his way except your angel warned him. In this mundane world, we face all sorts of danger but you are with us and in us. In the name of Jesus, I receive Your guidance and warnings today against any danger. My soul is therefore escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowler. – Matthew 2:13-14
2. Precious Father. In the name of Jesus, I receive your instructions for my life today. Guide me in the path that you have ordained. Continue to guide me with your eyes day by day in Jesus' precious name. – Psalm 32:8
3. In Jesus' Precious name I affirm that I am God’s handiwork, recreated in Him purposely to do those good works which God predestined (or planned beforehand) for me. I declare that from today going forward I am walking in the prepared paths of God for my life to fulfil destiny. Glory to God – Ephesians 2:10

 

 17. Prayer For Healing & Health

1. Precious Father, You have said in scripture that you are the one who forgives my iniquities; who heals all my diseases (Psalm 103:3). According to your word, I ask and receive pardon for all my iniquities. I receive your justification today, having accepted Jesus as my propitiation lamb for all my iniquities. I affirm that I am accepted by God today. I am free from the law of sin and death in Jesus' Precious name.
2. In Jesus' Precious Name, I surrender my broken heart unto you Father. I ask that you bind up the wounds of my heart. I receive your healing now because you are my healer (Psalm 147:3)
3. When they are sick, God will restore them, lying upon their bed of suffering. He will raise them up again and restore them back to health (Psalm 41:3). Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive healing in my body. If you have said you will restore me when I am sick I receive restoration now.
4. Father I receive your abundance of peace and truth in the name of my Lord Jesus. I affirm that you have brought me health and cure in Jesus' precious name. (Jeremiah 33:6)
5. Confess and Do Those Things You Couldn’t Do Because of Sickness: Thank you Jesus. You are my Healer; You are my Physician who in your own body bore my sins on the cross. So that me (name) being dead to sin can now live unto righteousness: by whose stripes I am healed. Glory to God and the Father of my Lord Jesus. Hallelujah!

 

 18. Prayer for Yourself

1. Precious Father, You have said, “ He that has the Son has life [the God-kind of life] and He that has not the Son of God has no life (1 John 5:12). I have the Son therefore I affirm that I have life [the very life of God]. This is the life higher and superior to human life; I have it. The life of God is at work in me – in my body in my bones, in my blood, in my mind, in my spirit. My words are alive such that the confessions of my mouth come to pass. Thank you Father that your life is resident in me.
2. In Jesus' name, I affirm that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I have been forgiven of all my iniquities because Jesus was wounded for my transgressions. He was bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement of my peace was laid upon Him. I am accepted before God. – 2 Corinthians 5:21; Isaiah 53:5
3. Father, in the name of Jesus, I affirm according as you have said that I am the salt of this world. I declare therefore that I create a thirst for Christ in the lives of the unsaved and always create taste in the lives of the saved. – Matthew 5:13
4. In the name of Jesus, I affirm that I am the light of the world according to God’s word. I shine brighter and brighter every day. Matthew 5:14
5. In the name of Jesus, no darkness can be in my path; no evil can come my way. Crisis, unfortunate situations, emergencies or whatsoever is far from me. I am a man (or woman) of light. Matthew 5:14
6. I am the light of the world. Wherever I show up Christ is revealed in me. Through me, people are finding their way to Christ. Many more are finding their purpose in life. I am the light of the world, glory to God. Matthew 5:14
7. Precious Holy Spirit of God, I don’t need to pile up wealth on earth to make it my security. Neither must I pile up wealth on earth where inflation or corruption keeps destroying it. In the name of Jesus I ask and receive insight to know the purpose of everything You have given me, and to apply them all purposefully. Matthew 6:19-20
8. Father, in the name of Jesus I affirm that I am not anxious about tomorrow or anything. You are my Shepherd I will have no need. I have confidence in you enough to live each day at a time. Have you not numbered (coded) every hair on mead because you care? I choose not to worry. Matthew 6:34
9. In the name of Jesus, I rebuke every storm blowing against me. Any contrary wind I rebuke now in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ. You can hear my voice; I charge you to be still – Matthew 8:26
10. Precious Father, I receive compassion (Your kind of compassion) for the lost, the hurting, the broken, the afflicted, the desperate and the confused. I receive compassion for the helpless – to pray for them, to support them, in the name of Jesus. – Matthew 9:36
11. Precious Father, I don’t want my heart to be like the field that is rocky and unable to sustain the growth of the word of God. I ask and receive your training to develop depths spiritually against afflictions and persecutions. I receive your help to be rooted and built up in you firmly. I affirm that you have made me steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of God – I Corinthians 15:58; Matthew 13:20
12. Father, the flesh loves preeminence (supremacy, dominance). I pray in the name of Jesus I ask and receive humility such that Christ will increase in me day by day, taking care of my ego and pride. – John 3:30

 

19. Prayer for God’s Insight and Revelation

1. Precious Father, You have said “Call unto me and I will answer you and I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know”. I ask this day that you show me great and mighty things I do not know in my life, in my business, family, and job, so I can apply my heart to wisdom. – Jeremiah 33:3
2. The hidden things belong to God. Precious Holy Spirit of God, Jesus said when you come you will show us things to come. I ask and receive revelations of things to come. I receive insight into the days and weeks ahead of me so I can prepare in advance in Jesus' name – John 16:13

 

 20. Prayer for Favor

Favour (which is also known as grace) comes through and it's multiplied the knowledge of our Lord Jesus. Hence, as you pray for more of these graces or favor in your life, seek to build your knowledge in them as well.

1. In the name of Jesus, I ask and receive more of your favour – the favor of the knee. I receive this favor to run through enemies and to leap over walls and barriers of human and demonic limitations. In Jesus' name, I affirm that by my God I have blazed through all troops of opposition; by Him, I have leaped over walls – 2 Samuel 22:30
2. Father, you favored Isaac’s hand to multiply what he planted in a time of severe famine. I pray and receive of you the favor of the hand – to proper everything that my hands find to do. In Jesus' name, I affirm that whatever my hands touch prospers, Glory to God – Genesis 26:12
3. My Father, in Jesus' name I receive this day more of your favor – the favor of the face. Whoever beholds me will like me and my course. Such that where it was said to others that there is no room, in that same place I will be offered room. Where others were abased in that same place I will be exalted. I am preferred wherever I show up in Jesus Precious name – Esther 2:17
4. My Father, you favored Joseph in a way that whoever, he worked for or associated with prospered. I receive of you this grace this day in the name of my Lord Jesus. Such that from today going forward anyone associated with me is blessed – my family, friends and loved ones, my employers and work colleagues are all blessed to be associated with me, Glory to God. – Genesis 39:5
