PREPARATORY QUESTIONS
- What do you have that belongs to God?
2. What does it mean for all that is the Father's to be yours?
It is remarkable to hear someone say to you, "All that is mine is yours." If that person truly means what he's saying, this is a pledge of loyalty.
In the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11), Jesus talks about a younger son of a rich man taking his portion of his inheritance and going into a far country to waste it (Luke 15:12-13). Eventually, this prodigal son returned home (Luke 15:14-16) to see what he could glean from his father's house (Luke 15:17-18). Upon returning, his father welcomed him with a party (Luke 15:21-23), which didn't go down well with the elder son (Luke 15:25-28). This elder son's argument to his father was that he's been faithful but has never had the gift of a party. Yet, this wasteful son has returned and he is being treated with the best. His father reminded him, "Son, you are ever with me, and all that I have is yours." (Luke 15:31). The one who has the Father has everything.
Jesus, praying for His disciples, affirmed that all that the Father has is His, and His is the Father's (John 17:10). Beloved, if we have become one with Christ and heirs of the Father, then we have the privilege of entering on the same inheritance of grace and power as our Lord had.
Beloved, the Father is saying to you today, "You are ever with me and all that I have is yours." Are you ever with the Lord, or have you left Him for a far country? Are you still with the Lord, or are you on your own? Are you serving in His court, or are you enjoying riotous living? Blessed are you if you are still with the Father. For unto you, He has pledged His loyalty. How can you be a failure in this life?
Precious one, what shall we say to these things if we are ever with the Father? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Rom 8:31-32). Praise God.
This is the conclusion of the matter. If all that the Father has belongs to Christ, and all that Christ has, belongs to the Father, then all things are yours (1 Cor 3:21). And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's (1 Cor 3:23). Glory to God.

QUESTION TO HELP YOU MEDITATE ON THE WORD
- If all things are yours and you are Christ's, do you truly and wholly belong to Him in practice?
PRAYER
Precious Father, thank you for the gift of salvation. Thank you that I am your heir and joint heir with Christ. I affirm that all things are mine and I belong to Christ, in thought and deeds. In Jesus' precious name. Hallelujah!
