In Matthew 8:8, a centurion came to Jesus and asked for healing for his servant. Jesus had wanted to go to his house to heal the servant. The Centurion rather indicated to Jesus that it is unnecessary for Him to come to his house. As a man of authority, whose words carry authority, speaking the Word is enough the centurion said to Jesus.
